Crazy in Love

They call her Crazy Anna.

Anna Flint won’t shake your hand. She collects tin cans. She cleans her cubicle at work with Lysol several times a day. But Anna doesn’t care that they call her crazy. She’s absolutely satisfied with her life of perfect organization, cleanliness, and most of all, solitude.

Matt Harper likes Anna Flint. He likes that she’s the smartest person he knows and he likes her big blue eyes. He doesn’t even mind her can collection. In fact, he pretty much likes everything about Anna. As his body and his world are falling apart, she still manages to make him happy.

Matt is the only person Anna has ever wanted to be close to. But how can she go on a date with him if the thought of dinner at a restaurant fills her with terror? How can she ever kiss the man she loves if she can't even touch him?

Maybe it’s time to stop being Crazy Anna. If only she could.

The Ugly Duckling

What would you do to get your happily ever after?

Libby Saunders, who spent the first seventeen years of her life as an ugly duckling, bleaches her hair and drops forty pounds in order to get her fairytale ending. Once she evolves into a beautiful swan, the handsome princes are tripping each other’s royal steeds in order to get a date with her. But while the princes in fairy tales may be perfect gentlemen, Libby finds that her real life princes tend to be somewhat less than perfect. Actually, they tend to be a bunch of two-timing jerks.

Will Kaplan, the roommate of Libby’s latest boyfriend, is definitely not her idea of a handsome prince. He’s missing a cleft in his chin, he doesn’t have a British accent or even a French or Italian accent, and he rides a wheelchair rather than a white stallion. But the more Libby gets to know Will, the more she starts to wonder if handsome princes are really all they’re cracked up to be. And maybe a nice, ordinary drake is the only one who can give a former ugly duckling the happily ever after she’s been waiting for.

(Almost) Happily Ever After: Ugly Duckling, Book 2

Libby Saunders was an ugly duckling who dreamed of a magical happily ever after.

Finally, after many, many (many) years of looking, Libby found her handsome prince who would whisk her off into the sunset on a white stallion. He wasn’t exactly the prince she had always dreamed of, but he was so much better. And they kissed and lived happily ever after.

Well… almost.

Because in real life, sometimes it’s not so easy. In real life, the prince might be a workaholic who rarely sees the light of day. Or the princess might notice she’s been off birth control for two whole years, but where are all the new little princes or princesses?

Why can’t happily ever after be as easy as it is in the fairy tales?

The Time Traveler's Boyfriend

Claudia’s geeky boyfriend Adam has just invented a time machine.

No, really—he has. She doesn't believe it either until Adam provides her with definitive proof that he does, in fact, have a functioning time travel device sitting in the living room of his Manhattan brownstone.

But instead of getting ready to accept the Nobel Prize, Adam has very different plans for his groundbreaking invention. He wants Claudia to use the machine to travel back in time and stop the accident that landed him in a wheelchair over a decade ago, and prevent the trajectory of events that he believes ruined his life.

When Claudia reluctantly agrees to become the first human time traveler, she knows she’s making a big gamble. If she succeeds, she could have the happy ending with commitment-phobic Adam that she’s always dreamed of. But if she fails, it could mean the end of the universe as she knows it.

Harvard Hottie

As an undergrad, Ellie Jensen went to Harvard, also known Hahhhh-vahhhhd (spoken with upscale Kennedy-esque accent).  During her freshman year, she earned her tuition scrubbing the toilets of a particularly obnoxious fellow classman named Luke Thayer, and spent the rest of her time sparring with him in expository writing.  When Luke confesses he's in love with Ellie, she's only too quick to say "no thanks."

In retrospect, she probably wouldn't have rejected him if she knew he'd end up her boss 16 years later.

Except it turns out Luke Thayer isn't the same jerk he was back in college.  He's a whole new kind of jerk.  And if the rumors prove true, he's going to destroy her life.  But if the rumors aren't true, they might just live happily ever after.

  4. Thank you for making disabled characters central to your stories. Truly inspiring and encouraging, even tho they are fiction, they help me get through my daily struggles and hardships which are so tough and dire. Please continue normalizing and writing about disabilities and inter-abled couples, it brings hope and joy in these tough times <3
